With the North Atlantic Ocean crossing season coming up, and sailing rallies such as the ARC taking place, it is a great time to think about why we follow these specific routes around our oceans. Our in house RYA Examiner talks us through global air masses, their associated winds, the currents they produce and how we use these for routing.
