Here I take a little left over Llama Wool and card it, make a puni style rolag then spin a bit and discuss some of the issues with Llama or Alpaca. Both are very similar in fineness and texture but Alpaca has no guard hair vs the Llama. There was a few left in this left over sample but much of the guard hair is rather coarse and long. Much longer than the normal staple of the wool. Llama or Alpaca will make some might warm items. Good for warm sweaters or indoor socks. Beware, if you don't give it enough twist it will just fall apart.
