On this Holy Wednesday—also known as Spy Wednesday—we stand at the edge of Christ’s Passion. The betrayal begins, and suffering draws near. But this is not a sign of failure. It is the unfolding of divine love. Bishop Sheen reminds us that holiness and suffering are not enemies. Even Our Lady, full of grace, stood beneath the Cross. Tonight, we remain with Jesus in His grief and offer our own in union with His.
