Paddle with Taitung's oldest and most experienced stand up paddle tour operator. Starting at Donghe river mouth - which is also a well known surf spot - the tour heads westward towards and under the new red bridge, passing by pristine forest where you will often spot monkeys and a variety of birds. The old Donghe bridge then looms up ahead and the tour passes through the narrow gorge under it, while the river widens into the white rock pools. The tour then continues on foot, tracing the river between huge boulders and passing some small pools and waterfalls. This is our most popular winter tour due to the rough sea state this time of year.
Duration: 2.5 to 3 hours.
