when I don't show pages in the black sketchbook, it is because I drew them months prior to starting my little challenge.
I have also done some exercises from the book Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain, which are not shown in this video. I might do a dedicated video of those once I'm actually done (I'm about 1/4 through).
lastly, I am not a complete beginner. I have drawn after the age of 7. I still very much feel like an absolute beginner, but if you are watching this and you literally haven't even done a stick figure in more than a decade, please don't compare your progress to mine. I have had many false starts trying to learn how to draw. with every false start, I have learned something and progressed a little, which especially shows in my elephant drawings; I drew elephants obsessively as a teen, and muscle memory kicked in hard when I suddenly found myself drawing an elephant again.
