Acts 15:
37 Barnabas wanted to take John, also called Mark, with them,
38 but Paul did not think it wise to take him, because he had deserted them in Pamphylia and had not continued with them in the work.
39 They had such a sharp disagreement that they parted company. Barnabas took Mark and sailed for Cyprus,
40 but Paul chose Silas and left, commended by the brothers to the grace of the Lord.
41 He went through Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the churches.
2 Timothy 4:11 Only Luke is with me. Get Mark and bring him with you, because he is helpful to me in my ministry. (NIV)

God also uses our faults for His work. As humans, we often feel ashamed and defeated after making mistakes. However, many figures in the Bible experienced similar situations.
For instance, Paul and Barnabas had a severe disagreement over John Mark’s involvement in their missionary journey. Paul was upset because John Mark had previously deserted him in Pamphylia (13:13) and didn’t want to forgive him.
But God used this conflict to create two separate missionary teams, with Paul and Silas on one side and Barnabas and John Mark on the other. Interestingly, even though Paul mentioned John Mark (Col. 4:10; 2 Tim. 4:11; Phm. 24) and Silas (1 Thes. 1:1; 2 Thes. 1:1) in his later writings, there was no hint of forgiveness between them, only a completed reconciliation for the sake of God’s work. 1)
In another example, when Paul was imprisoned and facing death in Rome, he felt incredibly lonely. However, he found solace in thinking about John Mark, who went on to write the Gospel of Mark. This is a testament to how God can make something beautiful out of our failures ( 2 Tim. 4:11).
In a prison of Rome, Paul had been left lonely, feeling his imminent death. And he remembered John Mark who after that was the author of Mark’s gospel. Surprisingly God made his words, the Bible, by their failure.
In conclusion, we can trust that God will make our failures, faults, and all things work together for good.
