Part of the beauty of Cedar Grove is with its gardens. It has an 18th century terraced garden laid out when the home was first built. The ancient boxwood that once graces the front of the home were sold to Colonial Williamsburg in the 1930s and can still be seen at the Governor’s Palace today. This tour walks through these features and then lays out my plans for restoring and building upon these gardens
