The Gaslight District is an upcoming Australian-Canadian adult animated web series created by Nick Szopko and produced by Glitch Productions. Set to premiere on April 18, 2025, on Glitch’s YouTube channel, the series blends supernatural crime drama with dark comedy in a post-apocalyptic setting.

The narrative follows the Smiling Dead, a family of undead gangsters vying for control over an island teeming with immortal criminals. This cursed land, pulled from the sea, serves as a backdrop for their eternal struggle for power in a world where death holds no sway.

The voice cast features Allanah Fitzgerald as Melancholy "Mel" Hill, Jason Marnocha as Ken the Butcher, John Whinfield as Mud, and Gianni Matragrano as Breadhead. The series' gothic aesthetic is complemented by a haunting score composed by Oliver Buckland and Gooseworx.

As Glitch Productions' fifth original series, following titles like The Amazing Digital Circus, The Gaslight District promises a unique blend of macabre humor and stylized animation, offering viewers a fresh take on the undead crime genre.
