An intersection which is the beginning of the Rda. Historica's taxi-bus lane. From this point, only taxi, buses, motorbikes, electric and hybrid vehicles, public services vehicles and exceptionally authorized vehicles are allowed to continue to the Menéndez Pelayo. The rest of the vehicles are forced to turn to La Florida street. This restriction only affects one direction, so all road vehicles are allowed to go to the opposite direction. Because of this taxi bus lane, there is a specific traffic light with a back lit box that reminds drivers that this is a lane exclusively for a certain type of vehicles. Along with the red light, the box turns on to make the letters more visible to drivers. This type of traffic lights modules are pretty hard to find, because they were installed just in some of the first Seville's taxi bus lanes more than 15 years ago and some of them have already been removed, so it's good to see that there still some left.
