Poi Explainer: What are CAPs? (intermediate poi trick)

Poi CAPs are now so common that it's difficult to remember a time when these intermediate poi tricks were not a part of our vocabulary. In this first edition of a new feature called The Poi Explainer, I'll take you through the history of these poi tricks from their first appearance in a Yuta video from 2007 to the mathematical explanation that was used to first coin the term and the many variations on it that have been created since. While kind of a bastard child of poi flowers and in some ways a generalized approach to poi transitions, CAPs are an enormous part of our vocabulary of modern-day poi spinning tricks.
