The Annandale waterfalls is relatively easy to get locate but challenging to get to. It is about an hour and 40 minutes outside of Halifax in West New Annan, Cumberland County. If you are leaving from Halifax you will drive towards Truro on Highway 102 (Veterans Memorial Highway) until you take left-hand turn onto highway 104 (Trans Canada Highway). Follow Highway 104 until exit 11, you will turn left at the end of the off-ramp onto Highway 4. Follow Highway 4 until you reach Highway 246 on your right. Turn onto Highway 246 driving towards West New Annan. You will come to a street on your right-hand side called Axe Handle Factory Lane. Continue down this dirt road until you see the other half of Axe Handle Factory Lane on your left. Stay right onto Cottage 2 Lane. Continue driving until you come to a crossroads of ATV trails on your left (may be overgrown) and right. Pull over here.
You will walk down the ATV path on your right and enter the forest. You can almost immediately hear the falls. To make your way down to its base, you need to follow the faint trails on your right that cut into the woods downstream of the brook.

As you navigate the little path your will see some ropes on your left. The terrain to get down to the base of the falls is very steep and these ropes will help you on the way down. Ensure you check that they are secure and not weather worn. Once down to the bottom follow upstream to the waterfall. Annandale falls Is reported to be one of the highest falls near Wentworth valley.
