Art Chat: Sketchbook 13 unlucky for me! September 2025

My monthly update video includes all of my sketchbook progress over the last month, lots of doodling, zentangling and playing around with new ideas. I've also been working on a few loose sheets of paper with drawings for future videos and just having a play around. I've been working away at the wedding flowers as well, things are starting to come together now - Yay!
There is also a little update on me and my little holiday to Scotland as well, do use the chapters below to navigate around if you prefer.

After becoming ill in October 2022, With a subsequent diagnosis of Grave's Disease (May 23- in remission Oct 24), I decided to create tutorials for all of my flowers and makes. I'd spent 8 years perfecting my techniques and had to close down all my selling platforms, due to my health. But decided to share my techniques on You Tube, so the knowledge can be passed on.

With no improvement in my health and a diagnosis of Connective Tissue Disease (Feb 24), and Cutaneous Lupus (Jun 24).
For my well-being, I am now focusing on all the art techniques and crafts which I've always wanted to try, but never did.. It's something I can do - even when I'm exhausted from the fatigue of my illness, I can just sit quietly and draw.
