Acadêmicos do Salgueiro had their first street rehearsal of the year last night. They played great. It began to rain on everyone so you'll see the camera has it's rainbow umbrella to protect the electronics.
I walked around the bateria a little but spent some minutes in the tamborim section, near the 3rd surdos, near the repique de bossa and near a tarol so you all could get a feel for the parts, designs and how folks really play their instruments. My goal with these videos is to really give you a deep dive into what it is like to be inside the bateria.
