A United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas 5 rocket is scheduled to launch a classified mission code-named Silentbarker for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) from pad 41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 8:47 a.m. EDT (1247 UTC) on Sunday, Sept. 10. It will be the final time an Atlas 5 flies with a national security payload. The workhorse rocket is being replaced in the coming years by ULA's new Vulcan launcher.
