Even outside of the SAT, few high school students truly know how to use apostrophes. On the SAT, they will mostly be used to show possession. Rarely, you’ll need to decide whether the apostrophe comes before or after the letter S. But mostly, you should focus on whether the word needs an apostrophe at all. This video gives you a sample question to show you the best strategy for mastering apostrophes on the SAT.
