Today as we move closer to our goal of reconnecting Tenterden and Robertsbridge, our locomotives face a new challenge: they need a home to be prepared and serviced, to run train services from East Sussex.

Phase 2 of our Buildings Appeal aims to raise £350,000 for the construction of a dedicated locomotive running shed. This vital facility will provide shelter for historic locomotives and volunteers against the elements, provide enhanced running and servicing facilities, create an opportunity to welcome visitors into our preservation story, and ensure that future generations can experience the magic of steam and diesel heritage.
