MEP Collection #58: August MEPs (AKA: Summer's Almost Over D:)

Can y'all tell I couldn't come up with a title? XD The first part in this MEP was the one I was talking about in the last packet that I didn't finish before that one went up. (Good thing I guess to make my '5 parts a month' minimum. XD)

Surprised I got 5, and the last two were done this last week since those were due soon. (One due at the end of the month, and another this week. Figured I'd finish them both up lol.)

0:00 - Young Justice
Characters: Miss Martian (with some M'gann/Superboy on the side)

Song: Everybody's Fool
Comments: I really enjoy the "text behind characters" don't I? XD Theme was "Characters hiding their true self or hiding a secret", and M'gann fit the bill. Went through a bunch of characters in my head and was like, "Hey she works!" Was following lyrics, hence why this ended on a sad note ;.;

0:17 - Dragonball Z
Character: Vegeta
Host: Jigmit Growl
Song: Flawed Design
Comments: Long ass sigh Love how the part turned out, love the song, but doing this part shouldn't have been as stressful as it was. If you're running MEPs and change the timeframe/deadline after someone signs up let them know or give them extra time. If I didn't already have the part mapped out in my head, I would've spent longer doing this with being busy IRL during the 24 hour timeframe this MEP had. (Though I finished/sent it after 24 hours from signing up due to that reason, but was still the next day.) The Bulma and Trunks scenes were from my "Warriors" MEP part a few packets back cause I couldn't be bothered to refind the scenes. Color scheme was red, black, and white, hence the color scheme I did.

0:26 - K-Pop Demon Hunters
Characters: Rumi/Mira

Song: Strawberry Dream
Comments: Yes I work with this now, and yes I do ship all the girls together, tho ended up going with Rumi/Mira since I didn't know if I could do Polyam ships. (And I was a replacement lol.) Maybe I should've asked because it was actually hard to do this since there's not many scenes with just the both of them. ;.; There's a lot of scenes with both of them with Zoey, but barely any of just the two of them so this was lowkey a struggle, but wanted to keep the pairing cause of the song. Theme was sunset beaches hence the color scheme/lyrics since I was RAWing this part. Anyway Yuri FTW.

Comments: I love my girl Danielle. ;.; I almost didn't do her (or DP for that matter) because there's a DP collab by two amazing creators with the full song, but I don't recall Danielle being used in it for this part of the song so I think I'm good??? (Granted that video was posted over a decade ago so-) Picked Danielle cause the theme was "expectations/trying to be some one you're not" which really fits her. ;.; Went more towards following lyrics overall tbh. Transitions were hard so asked some friends for advice so if y'all be reading this thanks!! :D

Comments: This was a struggle. Not making it wise, though that was a little tough lol, but picking the media. Went through characters/media in my head then got hit with the "I've seen this done before" and didn't want to accidentally steal an idea from someone else. Ended up on Kiki since I've never seen this song with her lol. Theme was "Characters working to get to the top" and she kinda does with her delivery service and how she saved Tombo at the end of the film. Was trying to showcase that along with her relationships building that up as well. Gotta love having the perfect scenes for lyric matchups...and remembering those scenes existed lmao.
