Gorenje WA60129 washing machine Simplicity model repair and test wash.
A lovely washing machine, really simplistic look, functions and use. It just needed a "simple" bearing replacement fix.
Of couse it turned into a full restoration moment I've putted my hands on.
Machine was used quite a lot due to a lot of calc and grime buildup. Motor brushes were at their last mm and bearings were screaming for retirement.
With this plastic tub bearings and main seal still can be replaced. It took me less than 20min to get a complete machine apart. But cleaning took me more than few hours. I really enjoyed working on this type of machine.
Replaced - main bearings and seal, motor carbon brushes, bearings, shock absorbers, belt was replaced few days after.
Test wash at 80°C was done with some quite heavy cotton sheets.
