This Hike Was Better Than Expected! Back on the Trails After Illness + Cosy Cottage Chaos 😅

Join me on a fell run in the Northern fringes of the Lake District. We'll run along a gorgeous section of the Cumbria Way, leading to Dash Falls, before ending up on the Wainwright peak of "Bakestall".

...But first, I need to make the climb into our new slightly dodgy kit cupboard!

I'll also share a little about why I got off track with fell running and my 'word of the year'.

Hi, I’m Chloe. I grew up in the Devonshire countryside, though seeking adventure, moved to Cumbria with my husband, Ryan, and our spaniel, Cam.

Since Ryan was serving as a Royal Marine, ‌this put us 300 miles apart (at best). We knew we wanted to spend our days exploring the Lake District and, after years of uncertainty, found ourselves on the move yet again.

This time, we found our countryside dream ~ a historic cottage in the fells and Ryan has now joined me full time back in the North.

As well as sharing my outdoor pursuits, from hiking to wild camping and wild swimming, I enjoy weaving notes on the landscape, history, personal philosophy and folklore throughout my videos.
