Welcome to Akaroa, one of the most beautiful coastal towns in New Zealand! 🇳🇿 Today I jumped on an incredible Akaroa Dolphin Tour to explore the crystal-clear harbour and hopefully spot the famous Hector’s dolphins—and they did NOT disappoint!
From the moment the boat left the dock, the views were unreal:
🌋 towering volcanic cliffs
🌊 turquoise water
🐬 playful dolphins swimming right beside us
This tour ended up being one of my favourite experiences in New Zealand. If you're planning your South Island road trip, definitely add Akaroa to your list—it’s peaceful, stunning, and full of wildlife you can’t find anywhere else in the world.
