Join us for a winter hike along one of the most fascinating sections of the Bruce Trail — the Singhampton Caves and Standing Rock Side Trail near Singhampton, Ontario. ❄️🥾
Starting from the upper car park, we follow the white-blazed Bruce Trail north to a scenic lookout over the Pretty River Valley before branching off onto the blue-blazed Standing Rock and Singhampton Side Trails. This area is famous for its narrow crevice caves, formed when massive blocks broke away from the Niagara Escarpment, creating tight fissures you can climb through — even in winter!
We explore moss-covered rock walls, frozen ferns, and the incredible Standing Rock pillar, a testament to thousands of years of erosion. If you’re looking for an adventurous winter hike in Ontario, this one definitely delivers.
If you enjoy Bruce Trail hikes, Ontario adventures, and winter hiking, don’t forget to like, subscribe, and join us on the next trail!
