Did you know that the Wonderful World of Color was originally titled Walt Disney's Disneyland? Walt created this show that began running in 1954 to promote Disneyland and provide teasers of the exciting experiences inside of the park. In 1958 the show evolved into Walt Disney Presents and then in 1961, it became Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color and Walt moved the show to NBC to take advantage of its ability to broadcast in color!
The World of Color premiered in Disneyland's California adventure in 2010 as a part of the Summer Nightastic! celebration that year and continues running nightly to this day in the lagoon at what is now Pixar Pier. I truly can't wait to go back and watch this stunning show and celebrate happiness in the park Walt himself walked and interacted with guests in!
