The City of Windhoek, through Resolution 107/04/2018, will rename Feld Street in Ausspannplatz in honour of Sir Seretse Khama, the Founding President of Botswana.
This historic occasion pays tribute to the legacy of Sir Seretse Khama, a renowned statesman whose leadership and vision shaped the foundation of modern Botswana and contributed to regional solidarity.
The ceremony is attended by President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah and Advocate Duma Boko, President of Botswana.
