HOW TO ATTACH ROWS WITH SASHING USING QUILT AS YOU GO| T-SHIRT QUILT

How to attach t-shirt rows with sashing using quilt as you go | t-shirt quilt
In this tutorial we continue working on our t-shirt quilt using the Quilt as you Go method. I show you how to square up the rows and get them ready to attach to the next row by using sashing strips. We will be working with 1" sashing strips for the front and 2" sashing strips for the back. I prefer to use larger sashing strips for the back as I feel it stabilizes the quilt better. This is just my personal opinion and you are welcome to use any size sashing that you would like. Attaching the t-shirt rows can be a bit challenging due to the amount of bulk and weight with these quilts, so you will want to take your time and take breaks in between sewing the t-shirt rows together.
