It was appropriate that the 100th meeting between these two storied programs gave us a game reminiscent of the old school Big East rivalry between the Hoyas and Orange. Syracuse and Georgetown went toe-to-toe in another classic basketball game with the Hoyas coming away with a 75-71 win. Jayden Epps led the way for Georgetown, scoring a game-high 27 points in the victory. Eddie Lampkin battled hard for the Orange and finished with 18 points on 8-12 shooting while Jyare Davis and Jaquan Carlos fought with him to the tune of 15 points apiece in a losing effort.
