Teaching in REMOTE Alaska: Life Off the Grid 🏔️❄️
What’s it like to teach in one of the most remote places in America? Education student Noah DeGraff spent a semester student teaching in Nondalton, Alaska, a tiny village with just three teachers and 21 students (K-12) — completely off the beaten path.
This once-in-a-lifetime experience placed him deep in the Alaskan wilderness, where he navigated subzero temperatures, Native Alaskan culture, and life in a tight-knit community far from the modern world. 🌎
