Pam Bassett's top 20 longhair kitten final at the 2015 CFA International Show in Oaks, PA, USA.
Thank you Pam, for wearing that pinstripe top! I could see she was going to be moving around a lot, not just using the table, so I used autofocus - which only sees Sphynx cats ('cause of their wrinkles) otherwise cats are a blur to autofocus, the camera instead focusing on ring numbers or cage bars (not exactly what I'm wanting!) but here it saw her top, so this is the best focused vid I have in this show, actually looks like 4K!
I'm going to try an external camera monitor so I can better see what the camera is seeing (camera lcd is tiny) in the hope of better manual focus. Focus is still quite a problem with video cameras, auto focus being a crap shoot as to what the camera decides to focus on, and manual focus being a crap shoot as to whether one (me, anyway) can keep a moving subject in focus by turning the focus ring correctly.
There were 57 longhairs and 59 shorthairs for a total of 116 kittens in Kitten competition in the Red Show.
