We followed the path up the left hand side of the river at Glenridding and continued up the footpath taking the steep split to the left. Leading is up and in a clockwise arc to striding edge. Not for the faint hearted but we managed it.
Summit, then back down Swirral Edge to Red Tarn. From Red Tarn we took the nice gentle path back down into Glenridding.
Thankfully my FlyingSloth allowed a beautiful view of the waterfall on the way back down, which was otherwise difficult and time consuming to access.
