Shaun King gets very emotional talking about our collective failure to stop the genocide in Gaza

I'm sorry that any of you ever have to see me lose control of my emotions like this. It's not my way. But the truth is, I cry almost every single day over the genocide of Gaza.

As many of you all know, I'm a new Muslim - converting just a few months ago at the start of Ramadan. And it was seeing and studying the faith of Palestinians up close and personal that impacted my heart so deeply.

And when I heard the following words from the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, I was so excited, because I've tried to live by this my whole life. The Hadith says,

I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say, “Whosoever of you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; and if he is not able to do so, then [let him change it] with his tongue; and if he is not able to do so, then with his heart — and that is the weakest of faith.” - Hadith 34, 40 Hadith an-Nawawi
