🎄 2025 Köln / Cologne Best Christmas Markets of Germany, Christmas Lights & Food Walk 4K HDR ✨

In this video I am presenting you a Christmas market walking tour in Köln / Cologne in Germany. This tour was filmed in December 2025 and covers all the main Christmas Markets and, of course, the beautiful cathedral. Our walk starts from the Heumarkt and then we proceed to the Alter Markt. Afterwards, we continue toward Roncalliplatz and finish this walk in front of the spectacular Cologne Cathedral close to the main station.

December 2025 brought a wonderfully festive atmosphere to Cologne: the city was glowing with warm lights, seasonal decorations, and the lively sound of Christmas music echoing through the streets. As in previous years, the markets offered a mix of traditional craftsmanship, regional delicacies, and cozy winter vibes—but 2025 also featured a renewed emphasis on sustainable stalls, eco-friendly decorations, and energy-efficient lighting, which gave the markets a slightly modern, refreshed feel while keeping the classic charm.

Enjoy large, lavishly decorated Christmas markets in the city with many unique goods and tasty German foods. Köln’s Christmas market is, with around 4 million visitors annually, the second most visited in Germany. Every year, the festively decorated Cathedral City invites people from all over the world to take a Christmas stroll through Cologne.

Fully shot in 4K HDR with binaural audio, this video captures the atmosphere exactly as it was experienced on location. Recorded in December 2025 with temperatures around 6°C, it was a crisp, perfect winter day for exploring the heart of Cologne during the holiday season. Enjoy!
