The Roman Empire Rises... Or Falls? | Anno 117: Pax Romana Gameplay

City Building returns and Anno is back because ANNO 117: PAX ROMANA IS HERE (in an early access, free public preview). I thought today would be a great chance to just play some Anno and get a feel for the 'most historic' Anno game to date, and the hotly anticipated sequel to the last (historical) great Anno experience in Anno 1800. Pax Romana is different, and putting the limited 1 hour play session and glitched UI aside, I really enjoy the two different provinces on offer and the areas where Roman meets Celtic. This is the limited Anno 117 Demo (running September 2 through September 16, ahead of the game's full release in November, 2025).

Anno 117 is probably in my top 3 most anticipated strategy games for 2025, alongside Endless Legend 2 and Europa Universalis V.
