Possessor(s) comes at a critical, make-or-break moment for the beleaguered Heart Machine. Sadly, it doesn't come close to being the game it needed to be to pull the studio out of its present tailspin. A middling metroidvania undermined by clunky combat and drab level design, Possessor(s) has little to offer.
