Since its inception in 2019, the Inclusive Excellence (IE@OSU) program has supported STEM faculty at OSU, Linn-Benton Community College and Lane Community College in integrating equitable teaching practices into their work.
The IE@OSU program received the 2024 College of Science Inclusive Excellence Award for its leadership in fostering a culture of inclusion, the story of which was shared for the third annual lecture in the series.
In a lecture titled “The wider story of IE@OSU: Faculty, food and fun,” program members (and College of Science faculty) Lori Kayes, Carmen Harjoe, Devon Quick and Mary Beisiegel share inspiring stories, their strategies for success and behind-the-scenes insights into the program’s journey.
Through the Inclusive Excellence (IE@OSU) program, faculty and administrators are empowered to foster equitable learning environments and create meaningful change in science and society.
