Trail Tech 2016:
A three night backpacking trip to Suzie Lake and Aloha Lake in the beautiful Desolation Wilderness of California. The Sierra Nevada mountains are spectacular in September, with minimal crowds and no mosquitoes.
Started at the Glen Alpine trailhead near Fallen Leaf Lake Southwest of Lake Tahoe. Used 2 different campsites near Suzie Lake and had warm sunny days for day hikes to Aloha Lake and other nearby lakes.
