Grady Harrell is an artist from Los Angeles, who auditioned for a spot as a member of Shalamar back in the late 1970s. His first album was Mwana, released in 1984. His album ,Come Play With Me, in 1989 had the new jack swing hit Fun and Come Play With Me. Harrells next album, Romance Me, in 1990 with the minor hits like Your Kiss, Patience and Boomerang. Harrells voice whose resembled that of Sam Cooke, had minimal commercial success, and had been unnoticed in the R&B world during the late 80s and early 90s, but resurfaced in the early 2000s.
