Classic Standard cars - the Standards of the 1920s - 1960s inc 8 & 10 saloons, Vanguard, Atlas van

I've owned and run two classic Standards, one a 1957 Standard 10 with the optional two-pedal "Standrive" transmission, the other a rare Standard Companion (estate car), both of which were excellent little cars. The products of the Standard Motor Company are often overlooked by many in preference to the classic cars built in Dagenham, Longbridge, Cowley or Luton.
In this collection I've gathered together 80 photographs of various Standards I've seen at classic car shows and in motoring museums. Models featured include the Standard 8 and 10 of the 1950s, pre-war Flying 8, 10, 12, the post-war Standard Vanguard Phase 1, 1A, 2, 3 and Vignale (in both saloon and estate car form). Commercial variants of the Standards haven't been forgotten either, several examples of Standard 10 7cwt van and pickup, Standard Vanguard pickup/ute, and the decidedly-rare Standard Atlas van all feature in this 15-minute video.
