A relaxed wander through Looe, one of Cornwall’s most beloved seaside towns, where working boats, winding streets, and centuries of history blend with easy-going coastal charm. Divided by the river into East and West, Looe has the rare ability to feel both lively and timeless—a place where seagulls cry over the harbour and the scent of the sea drifts between old stone cottages, mingling with the smell of fresh pasties and salt air.

Looe’s story stretches back to medieval times, when it was a thriving fishing and trading port. The river still serves as the town’s heartbeat, with colourful trawlers moored side by side and nets drying in the sun. For generations, pilchard fishing shaped the local economy, and echoes of that heritage remain in the names of lanes, quays, and pubs that line the waterfront.

The town’s narrow streets are filled with reminders of its maritime past—granite cottages weathered smooth by sea air, small arched alleyways known locally as “opes,” and historic buildings now housing cafés, galleries, and family-run shops. 🖥️ Editing
I use DaVinci Resolve Studio 20 for basic colour correction, mainly to tone down overexposed skies. The videos go straight from camera to YouTube—no cuts, no talking, no fancy business. Just walking.
