Painting AMAZING Faces explained step by step

We are painting faces on our miniatures again - in this tutorial you are gonna learn how to paint faces on your miniatures step by step. Since this is the most important feature of your warhammer miniatures, we are gonna take a look at the full process.

I have used Sister of Battle from Warhammer 40 000, Storm from Marvel Crisis Protocol and John Gerath from Loot Studios.

When you paint faces on your miniatures, most of the time you will be layering and glazing. There is no real need to shade them, since if you start from a dark basecoat, all the volume you build will become "highlight" and the basecoat will sort of naturally become shade of the face. As I have said already, when anyones looks at any miniature, they focus on the face and the eyes of the model, since that is what we are used to do. Getting better at painting faces is definitely worth it for that reason alone!
