For Xmas the club arranged a joint RTV and CCV trial, with 15-gate sections. The RTV cars did the first 10 gates only, the final five being CCV cars only. And interestingly, on occasion, a CCV car failed to make it through the first ten gates...
And... to make things a little more interesting, and to encourage groups to mix, the Fight For The Roses was thought up... Teams of a CCVT and RTVT car were made up, selection by a complex algorithm, and their scores were combined at the end of the day... It became Fight For The Roses as our club chairman offered up a tin of Roses to the winners...
