HOW TO PAINT AN ORCHID IN WATERCOLOUR

Let me show you how to paint an orchid in watercolour with step by step instructions. This full length painting tutorial is easy to follow and is for those who are slightly advanced with their watercolour painting.

Using a limited palette and mixed media paper Paint along with me and I will show you how to layer with watercolour using watercolour glazing techniques so that you can paint this vibrant botanical orchid. We will cover both wet in wet painting and wet in dry painting so that you can learn how to control your watercolour paint to create this bold botanical art in watercolour with a real contemporary feel.

Materials Used:
Paper - Daler Rowney Mixed media paper 250 gsm

Paints: Yellow, Cool Pink, Purple, French Grey, Indigo - all Mungyo
