MTBO: Mountainbike-Orienteering Switzerland: Cordoba Bike-OL 2023 (🇨🇭 Middle Championship HE, 8th)

Swiss Middle Championship 2023, HE, 8th.
(Camera) Battery was down after 45 minutes (from total 68 min). Solid run physically but far too many small mistakes:

Start - 1: Missinterpreted the path classification (and the map was may be not too good there). The chosen path over control 16 was not as good as indicated and the path on the direct root seemed not to be as bad as expected. Time loss: 1:20 min
1-2: Route choice OK, but excecution bad, took wrong road, time loss 30 sec.
2-3: Again not the courage to take the direct path and then go to the right and approaching the control from right, but took a long detour on the left, including a dumb fall. Time loss: 50 sec
3-4: Hesitaded too long, Time loss: 15 sec
4-5: good speed, but instead of passing again control 3 better turn right after control 4, Time loss 5 seconds
5-6: OK
6-7: Hesitaded too long, stopped unnecessarily short before the control, Time loss: 10 seconds
7-8: Oops, why no turn and take the detour (control 12). Time loss: 40 seconds
8-9: OK, but would have been better to go on on the control and take the left detour to control 9
9-10: Coming from the right, good choice (but again a dumb fall).
10-11: Route choice OK, but far too hesitationg and loosing orientation on the control, not realising it's the right control, Time loss: 40 sec
11-12: OK, but not seeing the path to control 12, in addition stop due another biker stanidng in the way. Time loss: 50 seconds
12-13: OK
13-14: OK
14-15: OK
15-16: OK, but missed first path, hesitating. Time loss: 15 seconds
16-17: OK
17-18: Left choice better. Time loss: 5 seconds
Time loss in total: 5:35 minutes, (63 minutes) too much to be really happy! Would have been the 7th place. But with only 10 minutes delay on the winner H0tz that would have been a very good result, but now it's mediocre.
