This started as a jam on Digitone that I brought in the TD-3 to help fill out. Pretty soon though I realized I had run out of tracks and needed a Lead Synth, so I brought in the Syntakt to cover it. Seems kind of silly to add Syntakt to the mix only to provide some claps and a lead synth (as well as a couple percussion flourishes) but next time I’ll probably start with Syntakt and then bring in Digitone for bass and other crazy sounds. My problem is I’m a perfectionist. I could make a dope song using only one box but I want more! I’m selfish. Anyway, I’m happy with this track. The outro is probably the coolest part and should maybe be its own song. I might use it on an album in the future perhaps.
