Drayton Manor's NEW coaster launches you DOWN the lift hill as well as up the lift hill! There's also a switch track making the train go backwards up the lift hill before launching forwards! Gold Rush will be an awesome Intamin family lift and launch roller coaster! The western themed coaster will be themed around a Gold Mine with explosives all around! Drayton Manor also opened The WAVE - Shockwave but with sit down trains! Gold Rush is rumored to be opening August 2024 and replaces Pandemonium and Apocalypse! The NEW family coaster is another stage in the looping Groups investment plan at Drayton Manor Resort. Gold Rush is a UK brand new roller coaster and will join Hyperia (Project Exodus), Nemesis Reborn, and Minifigure Speedway as the UK's NEWEST roller coasters.
