Woodturning a lidded pot - Honduran Mahogany burl - Walnut Finial.

Hello and welcome to my channel or welcome back if you have visited before.

In this video I turn a small hollow vessel from Honduran mahogany on the woodturning lathe. I also take a smaller piece of sapele (an off cut from an old broken table) to make the lid which holds a thin finial. I turned the finial in a previous video, seen here;

The entire piece was finished in a couple coats of danish oil and sanded in between.

The music is an original piece from a collection I have written and recorded to accompany my videos.
