Everest Base Camp Trek Part 1

After nearly 3 weeks we finally have WiFi strong enough to upload the first part of our epic adventure up to Everest Base camp.

We left Kathmandu at 4am by jeep to head to the town of Okaldhunga. From here we started at 24 day trek through the Himalayas to Everest ase camp.

In this video our journey begins as we ride in jeeps, stay with locals and drink Rakshi ( home made millet vodka ). We make our way from Kathmandu to Okaldhunga and then on to the small village of Sepli.

Join us and watch from the beginning as we start in warm alpine valleys as we make our way up to the FREEZING yet amazing Himalayan mountains. We will stay in the famous towns of Lukla, Namche and Dingbuche as we make our way higher and higher.

If you want to do any trekking, our guide's name is Ram. He is a local family man and a qualified trekking guide. He was so amazing during our trip.

Originally from the Wirral, North West England we got married in 2012. After a few trips abroad we caught the #travel bug. In 2019 after 6 weeks in Japan we decided we were going to quit our jobs and take some time out to travel full time. After many delays due to the pandemic, in 2021 our dream finally came true and in November we set off on our journey.
