In 2024, Pyramids of Mars received a truncated edit for Tales of the TARDIS. Handled by the same team who did the previous year's The Daleks In Colour, this edit cut around 20 minutes of material, re-edited certain sequences by heavily amping up the cross-cutting and included new visual effects and music. Here is a comparison of the updated footage with the original footage.
