Walking in the beautiful Peak District by the stunning Doveston Reservoir.
Staring off in the car park for Dovestone reservoir we walk down the hill and cross the bridge, to get to the start of the ascent. Walking along site a man made river that flows into the reservoir you can see how the landscape is starting to change.
Once at the top of the hill, the cloud comes in making for some dramatic sites as well as making the rest of the walk very wet. This can happen a lot in the Peak District! Walking along the top we see lots of amazingly powerful streams and water ways that become waterfalls.
After following my own advice, we change our route so that we can take in the beauty of the dam. Heading back down to lower ground the cloud starts to lift and the inspiring scenery comes into view.
Following the path round, we make our way back to where we started not before taking in the spectacular engineering that it took to build the reservoir and the waterways that guide the water to the dam.
Finishing off on the bridge that we hat to cross at the start I say bye from Another Day Another Walk while looking a crossing the majestic countryside.
