Rat Wars: The Tide Has Turned (for now)

Well it has been far too long between videos and I hope to get back into a more regular pattern.
We are back out at my most active farm but there has been a dramatic change in the rat population. With what Bob, Bruce and I manage when we are here, only just brushing the surface of the rat problem. The farmers have changed the poison that they use. This has really hit the rats hard and their numbers have dropped off. Not only at this farm but at the others we shoot at. This is not unusual as the rats get used to the poisons being used and after a while, learn not to eat it. This causes the rat population to increase. The farmers then have to apply to use a different poison and this needs to be approved by the Government Health Authority. Once approve and the poison are switched out the rats are unused to the new poisons and start to eat it, causing their numbers to once again drop. This is where we are now in the poison cycle.
So whilst the numbers are dropping, this is a good thing for the farmers but I am sure that it wont be long before the rats are back breaking rule number 5.
