LOVE KWONDO | Official Short Film – Love Should Heal, Not Harm

LOVE KWONDO is a short film that explores how love can slowly turn into control, silence, and violence often right in front of us.

Set in a campus environment, the film follows Zuri and Trevor, a couple whose relationship begins with affection and promise, but slowly unravels into emotional manipulation and physical abuse. Through moments of tenderness, denial, and fear, Love Kwondo exposes how abuse hides behind apologies, familiarity, and the hope that things will change.

This story is inspired by real experiences, though some elements have been fictionalized for dramatic purposes. The film is meant to spark conversation, reflection, and courage — especially among young people navigating relationships.
