A friend of mine asked me if I could record a raw vocal cover of any song of my choosing, with no post production whatsoever, no editing, no tuning, no effects (you get the point). Just a simple, off the floor, one take recording of my vocals. So I said to myself, why not push this a little further and choose a song from an incredible vocalist such as Myles Kennedy?
IN LOVING MEMORY by ALTER BRIDGE is a song that literally touched my soul the first time I listened to it, and to this day, I still get emotional every time I hear it.
So I dedicate this performance to all of you who have lost a loved one, and still try to fill the void they left into your heart. I hope the lyrics to this song can help you find inner peace and the strength to keep moving forward in life.
